Yoconut Limited Edition – Caramel Honey Macadamia & Coffee

Last year I wrote about the Yoconut ice cream tubs available from Aldi. Alongside their two standard flavours, Yoconut Limited Edition flavours change frequently. Currently, you can enjoy Caramel and Roasted Honey Macadamia as well as Coconut and Coffee. Just like the other varieties these will set you back $4.99. The gluten free label is at the bottom of the tub and these are made in Australia. As with their limited edition varieties do get in quick before they sell out. The coffee is labelled vegan, but due to the honey the caramel is only labelled vegetarian.

Yoconut Limited Edition Caramel and Honey Roasted Macadamia

Starting with the Caramel and Honey Roasted Macadamia this contains macadamias. Additionally, it may contain peanuts, other tree nuts, and soy. Other ingredients include coconut, golden syrup, dextrose, honey, and tapioca derivatives. This is a delicious ice cream that you’ll find hard to stop eating. We actually made alcoholic spiders with it. Lemonade, vodka and the ice cream. It is an amazing combination, if you drink. The caramel ripple throughout just adds a burst of caramel sweetness. Additionally, there are plenty of macadamia pieces to add crunch. The coconut isn’t too strong and one of our friends couldn’t even tell this is dairy free. I have to buy more tubs for sure. It is a sweeter ice cream though, so keep that in mind.

Yoconut Limited Edition Coffee and Coconut Gluten Free

Onto the Coconut & Coffee which is what coffee lovers dreams are made of. It contains no major allergens, but may contain peanuts, soy and tree nuts. Ingredients include coconut, coffee, vegetable gum, dextrose, and tapioca starch to name a few. This is a creamy coffee ice cream with a gooey coffee ripple through it. The coffee flavour is rich and both Brody and I really enjoy it. As the name suggests, you will taste the coconut flavour in this. Although, it is still not overpowering. Furthermore, that coffee ripple is bursting with flavour that really brings it all together. I could eat this entire tub in a single sitting. I’d regret it afterwards but it’s just that good.

Now you know all about these two Yoconut Limited Edition varieties. Get down to Aldi soon before they sell out. I’ll definitely be stocking up on these flavours. I hope that they bring them back because these are a delight. Fore more ice cream reviews, you can head to the Frozen Products page.
