Once again it is the end of the month and as usual it brings the AGFL the box with it. If you don’t already know about the AGFL gluten free subscription box, you can read more here. Otherwise you can head straight over to their website, click on the subscribe tab and sign up for yourself. As always I am in no way affiliated with the company and get no kickbacks. If you are curious about the previous months boxes, you can read my previous reviews on the AGFL page.
Food For Health
From Narelle and the Food for Health brand, we have received another breakfast option. The cereal in this box are coffee and cacao cluster that are fruit free. That makes them not only gluten free but save for our fructose intolerance companions. The cereal is definitely crunchy and utilises real coffee beans making it the perfect way for me to wake up. The food for health clusters can be found in Coles and Woolworths for around $8.60.
The next item in the box is the Luxe Nuts bar by G.Luxe. This gluten and dairy free raw bar is one of the many that the brand provides. They are as always perfect for taking on the go, in case you can’t find a suitable lunch venue. Currently the G.Luxe website has them on sale for $2.00 a bar but you must buy a minimum of 12. If you don’t fancy buying 12 of them though, the website has a list of stockists, where you can purchase single bars.
The munch snacks from Think Food have appeared a few times in our gluten free subscription box. These clusters are a delicious little snack. With stockists including, Woolworths, Coles and Costco, you can find these packs almost everywhere. At Woolworths this pack will set you back around $4.50.
Providing the gluten free community with safe ingredients, Lotus have a wide range of gluten free labelled products. This month we have received slippery elm bark powder. I have heard of it before, but have never used it. I welcome any suggestions in how to use it. The range is exclusive to independent health food stores. This size pouch retails for $14.99.
Unfortunately, the final product in the box I am unable to review. The AGFL team emailed out a warning that the tea included in this months box actually contains a may contain statement. The team are liaising with the company to determine whether there is a real risk.
That is it for this month, without the final product the contents retail at; $30.09. For those who did purchase this box, the AGFL team will be in touch in regards to the tea. What was your favourite item in this box? I love the food for health clusters at the moment.
